1. MOOLA SIDDHANTA OF AYURVEDA:
Definition - Ayurveda, Four Goals of life, Orgin of Ayurveda, The eight branches of Ayurveda, Panchabhutatuttva, Tridoshasw - Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Saptha dhatus - Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Medas, Asti, Majja, Sukra & Sronita.
Hetu - lLinga - Aushada - Causes, Symptoms and treatment of various diseases, and application of speciality treatment of panchakarma as mentioned in classics.
Knowledge on Bhaiahajya kalpana - Esp. A knowledge on various formulations of Ayurvedic system - Churna, Avaleha, Ghrita, Thaila, Basma, Sindura, Vadi & Etc.
2. BASICS OF HUMAN ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY:
Knowledge on various systems of the body, anatomical positions and physiological functions.
VERMA CHIKITSA:
Definition - Varma, It’s importance especially in salya sastra. It’s classifications based on the views of the Acharyas, Anatomical positions of the varmas, Their function, Sadhya & Asadhyata of varma, Diseases afflicting various varmas, Treatments applied in varma afflictions Medicines used in varma chikitsa, Their preparation - Asper Karaliya padhati.
3. PANCHAKARMA:
Introduction to chikitsa - a) Samsodhana, b) Sams’ amana, Shadupakramas (sama types of classicaltherapy ) - Langhana, Brimhana, Rukshana, Snehana, Swedana, & Stambana, Abhyanga.
PANCHAKARMA - Introduction - The classical Ayurvediya Panchakarma & Karaliya Panchakarma.
CLASSICAL AYURVEDIYA PANCHAKARMA - The Stages of Panchakarma treatment - Purva karma, Pradhana karma and paschat karma.
